Let me begin by saying, this right here didn’t start polished… it started with a DELULU 2020 Michelle — made redundant (from a job I hated!).

Short answer? No. I’m a WordPress girlie 1000%, and it’s the only platform I build client websites on. I’m simply not interested in building you something that looks cute today but starts holding you back in two years’ time.

WordPress gives you so much more flexibility, ownership and room to grow. As your business evolves (and trust me, lovely…it will!), your website can evolve with it — instead of you needing to start from scratch all over again.

Already on Wix, Squarespace or Showit? I’ve got you. We’ll seamlessly migrate everything across as part of the process. That said, don’t be surprised if we realise a lot of what you thought needed keeping… actually need to go in the bin (said with love, obviously!). Most clients have outgrown far more than they realise, and because you’re investing in the full RECKONING experience, this is your chance to build something that fully reflects who you are now, not who you were a few years ago.

There’s work, of course….but everything is incredibly intentional and the CEO moves you need to make. And most of my clients really enjoy this deep work (it’s how they get to where they’re at).

In short, RECKONING is a collaborative experience…and I can’t create a brand and website that reflects your highest level if I’m only working with half the picture. But any of the ‘legwork’ is done by us. You are only inputting your genius (the sh*t we need to know) and we’re running with it. 

First up, you’ll complete an in-depth, intentional onboarding questionnaire and we’ll have a strategy call to dive into your business. This is where I guide you through everything I need before we kick things off.

From there, you’ll need to

  • Organise your brand photos (with my creative and strategic direction)
  • Organise your website copy ready before your website build begins. More on this below.
  • Send over the technical things I need (logins, domain details etc.) — if you have a VA, this is a great one to handover
  • Give feedback throughout the project — ideally within two working days — so everything keeps moving smoothly.

 

And you’re done. The rest is on me, lovely.

Yes, but we’ll review your existing branding before we get started.

I’m not interested in changing things for the sake of it. If your branding still reflects your level, speaks to the clients you’re trying to attract and works across a high-converting website, then yesss girl! We’ll build on what you’ve already got.

But here’s the most likely scenario: most clients come to me because they’ve outgrown their brand (it looked gawj in 2024 but that fluffy pink logo is no longer your vibe). Your business has evolved into a bad-ass bitch. You’ve raised your prices, refined your offers, found your people and grown into a completely different business owner.

If your branding isn’t giving ICONIC, then your website will always be trying to make up for something it can’t fix. If that’s the case, I’ll tell you — and going through the branding experience becomes a pre-requisite. I’m not going to let you invest in something that will ultimately cost you. 

Yes. Non-negotiable, gorgeous. Blurry selfies, cropped conference photos or a handful of random headshots from five years ago…it’s never going to hit the way you’re dreaming (BIG) of.

Your brand photos are an integral part of your identity. They also build trust, show your personality and give people a genuine feel for what it’s like to work with you.

But please don’t stress. You do not have to work out brand photography as a newbie. Inside RECKONING, you’ll get a brand photoshoot guide with exactly what to capture, plus creative direction so your images work with your website, not against it. Every photo is a nod to your DELULU vision.

To keep everything moving, I’ll ask you to book your photoshoot shortly after signing. Your website build will then be scheduled around your final edited gallery, so when we start designing, we’ve got everything we need to create something seriously special.

Just like your brand photography, your website copy is a BIGGIE deal — it’s part of what makes your website actually work.

If you want a website that’s built to convert, I always recommend bringing in a professional website copywriter. At this level, done-for-you website copywriting typically starts from £4000+…and I can recommend exactly who to work with based on real deal performance, results and a seamless process (so no searching Insta and second guessing who to reach out!).

With support, yes. If you’d rather write your own copy, you’ll need to invest in at least copyediting to help you ensure your copy is strategic, clear and actually written to convert (said with love, nice words aren’t going to cut it!). This typically starts from £1400.

Correct. RECKONING is the investment in your brand and website reinvention. But a huge part of that is your copywriting and brand photography.

Girl, I always want you to have the full picture before you commit — no hidden surprises over here. We’ll chat through all of this before you book, so you know exactly what to expect and can make the right decisions for your business.

Probably not. RECKONING is built for seasoned service providers, coaches and founders who already have a business that’s working. You’ve got clients. You’re making money. You’ve got proof that what you do works.

That said, if you know success but you’re now building something new…hi, lovely. You already know what it takes, and your mindset is primed. LFG!

RECKONING typically takes 13–14 weeks from the date we officially kick off your brand + website project.

But we won’t lock in that start date until your brand photoshoot and copywriting are booked, with confirmed turnaround dates. I want everything lined up properly before we hit GO, so your project can move without unnecessary delays.

Once those dates are confirmed, I’ll map out your full project timeline so you know exactly when your brand + website will be ready to make its big, ICONIC entrance.

If you’ve got a launch, rebrand, event or big announcement coming up, I’ll always do my best to work backwards from that date when planning your RECKONING. That said, I’m never going to rush the experience to hit an arbitrary deadline…this is a deep, strategic process, and that quality is never compromised.
